The College Committee is a committee of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Australia operating under Article 7 of the Articles of Agreement and under Regulations granted by the General Assembly. It is principally responsible for the supervision of the course of training for candidates for the ministry of Word and Sacraments within the Presbyterian Church of Australia and for the admission of candidates to the course of training and their grading. The College Committee does not operate an educational institution, but recognises courses at the following theological colleges as satisfying the educational requirement of the training of candidates.

For the training of candidates for the ministry from Western Australia, subject to certain conditions, the General Assembly of Australia also currently authorises the use of Trinity Theological College, Perth (www with students under the supervision of the Faculty of the Presbyterian Theological College, Victoria.

Intending candidates should contact the relevant college for details regarding the course and the requirements for candidature, or contact the convener of the committee responsible for theological education in the relevant state for those states where there is no Presbyterian theological college.
